Getting Started
-
Are you the right therapist for me?
If you are interested in working together, you can contact me by email to arrange a free brief consultation. We would discuss your situation and what kind of help you were looking for so that we can decide together whether to arrange an assessment appointment. If I was not the best person to help, I would explain why and advise you of alternative services.
-
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions are offered remotely via secure video link (Zoom) allowing you to talk freely from the comfort of your own surroundings. Online sessions can provide greater flexibility and accommodate busy or international schedules, while allowing for the development of a strong human connection.
-
What are your session fees?
15 minute Initial Phone Call | Free
90 minute Initial Assessment | £180
50 minute Therapy or Integration Session | £110
Fees are paid via BACS on the day of the session. Some slots are reserved for people on low income, please enquire for further details. I do not currently offer sessions through insurance providers.
-
How many sessions will I need?
This can vary depending on the duration and complexity of the difficulties you are facing. I offer short and long-term interventions depending on your unique needs. We would agree in advance the number of sessions and review progress at regular intervals.
-
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to change your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice and I will try to offer you an alternative time. Appointments cancelled with more than 48 hours notice are not charged. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, or that are not attended are charged at the full rate.
-
What if I need urgent support?
You can contact me by phone or email for non-urgent issues, however I do not offer emergency support, as I cannot guarantee my availability to you. If you require urgent support please contact your GP, call NHS 111 or visit your local emergency services (A&E).
