Somatic Inquiry invites you into a connection with your body to resolve deeper wounds, survival patterns from childhood and a dysregulated nervous system. I draw on polyvagal theory, and somatic practices to support you with nervous system regulation to restore a sense of safety and a greater capacity for feeling and relating authentically.
ACT is a therapeutic approach that helps people make room for difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while learning to act in ways that align with their deepest values. It teaches psychological flexibility — the ability to stay present, open, and engaged in meaningful action even when inner experiences are painful.
Internal Family Systems is an empowering approach that recognises that we all have a core essential ‘Self’ as well as a system of protective and wounded ‘parts’. These parts can take on different roles like ‘the inner critic’ or a wounded ‘inner child’ and can often be in conflict and cause us distress and unhappiness. Disentangling from parts and connecting more with one’s ‘core self’ can help to bring healing and internal balance.
